Description
The Table Labeler plugin for ChatGPT is designed to assist users in labeling and managing tabular data. This plugin is particularly useful for those who work with spreadsheets or databases and need to categorize, label, or make sense of large sets of data. With its user-friendly interface, you can easily apply natural language models to rows of a table, link Google Sheets, and even preview the results before saving.
How to use:
Installation
Users can either search for Table Labeler in the ChatGPT plugin store or simply press the "try it" button at the top right of this page to open a chat in ChatGPT with the plugin already activated.
Data Upload
To start, you'll need to upload your data file. You can either upload a Google Sheet or a local file. The plugin will guide you through the process.
Column Selection
Once your data is uploaded, you'll be prompted to select the columns you want to work on. Choose the columns that you want to label or categorize.
Prompt Examples
- "Label these items based on their characteristics."
- "Categorize these sentences into positive, negative, or neutral."
- "Summarize the content in these rows."
- "Translate the text in these columns from English to Spanish."
Preview and Apply
Before making any changes, you can preview how the labeling will look. If you're satisfied, proceed to apply the labels to the selected rows.
Save File
After you've applied the labels, you have the option to save the modified data. You can either download it or save it back to Google Sheets.
Review
Finally, you can review your labeled data. Make sure everything looks as you intended before closing the plugin.
